Grateful.

2017 has been one adventurous year for me, for the Business of Baking as a whole and for the world at large. In my sphere it’s been pretty wonderful but for the world…not so much. I could write an entire list about all that happened, and a second list of all the things which didn’t happen but it’s December 26 and ain’t nobody got time for that.

Instead let me simply say thank you. Thank you for being a part of my life. Thank you for going after the things you want for your life, and thank you for sharing your stories with me. Now more than ever, I believe we’re in this crazy adventure together.

I hope your December thus far has been full of love – either for you and your loved ones or for some damn good desserts (hopefully all of those.)  From my family (pictured above) to yours… sending you laughter, peace and a lot of togetherness (but not so much you want to kill each other.)

See you in 2018 – where I’ll be teaching, travelling, talking more and hopefully getting to meet you in person too.

  1. Thanks, Michelle! To you and your family, may all the best of the best come to you in 2018! And see, you’re teaching even now. I know you’re recovering from surgery and only got this post up because you prepped and scheduled it well ahead of time. Always a teacher, even when laid out on the sofa recovering!
